Location was perfect for me. Property itself was well kept and offered plenty of room to sit and relax as well as provided options for dining either as a solo eater or a part of a larger gathering.
Only a 15-minute drive from the city of Worcester, this hotel is situated in Hadley Heath, just outside Droitwich. It dates back to the 16th century, and offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant.

Staff were excellent - friendly, polite and attentive.
Staff were excellent - friendly, polite and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. The main light and desk light were not working and the staff did all that they reasonably could to rectify the problem when we reported it.

Helpful walking map from the information Centre provided a focus on the must see sights. Canal walk and visits to the Sacred Heart Church made a pleasant and informative short break. The Thai restaurant and the local pubs provided good hospitality.

I was on a short stay to attend a specific event, so only spent a little time in the town. The High Street is rather quaint and has a collection of small shops and restaurants/take-aways. There is a pleasant park with walks alongside the canal

Picked Droitwich as a stopover.
Picked Droitwich as a stopover. Actually stayed just outside. Always wanted to go there since I was a child (1950s!) and saw it on the wireless dial. Nice to find it was in the UK not mainland Europe!! ;-)
Seemed a nice little place but we literally stopped, ate, drank & slept! Thanks to all.

Staff could not have been better. There was a problem with some lights not working in the room. They reacted immediately and did all they could to deal with it. We were offered a change of rooms but decided not to take this up as we had enough working lights to get by. We usually stay at Holiday Inns and we rate this one as the best one we have been to. Full marks Droitwich.
We brought our very nervous cocker spaniel the dog friendly rooms were separate from the pub so nice and quiet, everyone was really friendly and great with our dog. Food was lovely, we had our evening meal and breakfast, no complaints!
The hotel was perfect for our stopover and would definitely use again when in the area. We would ask for a room away from the road and kitchen extractor next time.
