It’s a nice place to stay, apart from the fact that you never know who will sleep in the next room. You can hear people getting up and getting ready for leaving. Not nice.
I wonder if there’s a chance of not putting guests together next to each other, this would improve the quality of sleep and overall impression so much.

Called the Amber Capital of the World, Gdańsk is the major shipping seaport and the most beautiful city along the Polish Baltic coast. It has everything a city of this scale needs: a fascinating history, great architecture and a friendly atmosphere!
Also known as Danzig due to its complex past with periods of Polish, German and self-rule, the city is part of the Tricity urban area together with the port city of Gdynia and the popular spa town, Sopot. It’s also a birthplace of the world-famous Solidarity movement, which helped to bring down the Communist rule in Poland initiating the end of the Cold War era.
Its charming buildings were rebuilt in a historical style after the near-complete destruction during the World War II. The colourful town houses of the Old Town can be admired by boat on the Motlawa River or enjoyed while strolling along the popular Long Street and Long Market.
While in Gdańsk, make sure you visit the 15th-century St Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in Europe, and you make a wish at the Neptune Fountain, the city’s patron. While in town, try the legendary local Goldwasser liqueur with 22 karat gold flakes!
Whether you reach Gdańsk by train or plane, Booking.com offers a variety of accommodation near the Lech Walesa Airport, the picturesque Old Town or the general city centre.
Beautiful city, very easy to walk around and find your way.
Beautiful city, very easy to walk around and find your way. Our hotel was centrally located to everything. Architecture is stunning and the people were very friendly. Food was amazing and there is such a wide choice to choose from. We did the walking tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it such good fun. I learned so much about the history of Gdansk and Poland.

Gdansk is a fantastic Polish harbor city.
Gdansk is a fantastic Polish harbor city. We enjoyed every single meal, exploring a variety of cuisines and local spots. We highly recommend these places for a truly traditional, affordable, and delicious authentic Polish cuisine experience: Restauracja Gdansk and Restauracja Dominikanska. For a unique cultural experience, visit WL4 Galeria, which features an impressive sculpture scrap metal yard and deeply moving, evocative free exhibitions. Don't miss the Europejskie Centrum Solidarnosci and its café, where we had the best cheesecake.
For traditional fresh Polish donuts, head to Dobra Paczkarnia-1989. If you visit the church, take a stroll in the nearby park, warm up at Palmiarnia, and grab a pumpkin latte or cookie from Spokoj Cafe. I can’t recommend the food hall Montownia enough! We wanted to try everything they offered but only managed to sample dishes from four different cuisines.

Very beautifully restored city with some nice places to eat...
Very beautifully restored city with some nice places to eat and drink and a fascinating past. It's quite compact so you can pretty much walk round the main area of beauty in one morning but taking time to get to know it better and finding the right guide for food and drink recommendations is well worth it. If you like grim 20th Century war and conflict history, this place is a must for you. There doesn't seem much of interest outside the city other than the shipyard and Westerplatte which saw the first armed conflict of WW2 and put Britain at war with Germany, We visited this area but the air quality from the shipyard and chemical factory pollution was choking and didn't stay long. We did take a trip out to the nearby beach resort of Sopel where the air is breathable which is worth doing. if you want to explore a bit beyond Gdansk.

I loved this short trip.
I loved this short trip. The architecture and history of the place is amazing. I went to a shooting range and the WW2 museum, and the rest of the time drinking and eating and exploring the many free museums. I spent 3 days there in February and it was cold but bearable. If I went again I’d love to go to the coastal side and visit the beach. I would definitely recommend as it is steeped in so much history.

We only spend one night but we were very satisfied.
We only spend one night but we were very satisfied. Previously the communication was fast and accurate. The location in the city is excellent. The receptionist was very polite and friendly, always ready to help us in anything. When we arrived, the sofa bed was deployed, as we asked them. The apartment is very cosy, clean and comfortable. A think I value is the light. In other cases the light is too week that is not comfortable to read and other activities. This is not the case of Baltic.

I really liked Gdansk. An incredibly beautiful city.
I really liked Gdansk. An incredibly beautiful city. Touristy, but the locals are not yet tired of tourists and are very hospitable. It absolutely exceeded all expectations. Unlike other cities in Poland, everyone here speaks good English and we could comfortably communicate with everyone. The food in the spots we chose was very good and not expensive.
For architecture lovers and connoisseurs, there is something to do there. These buildings in at least 3 different architectural styles can be viewed forever!

Location is very good. We have visited in Gdansk so many times that old town has been seen and it was nice to stay some where else. Easy to take bus 122 from airport and back. Also trams are very near so you can get where ever you want to. So location, ten points.
Breakfast was very good and it was nice to have possibility to make your own crepe or wafel.
Hotel was very clean and quiet inside. Staff was mainly very friendly (only the receptionist when we came was not).
First rate hotel with all the facilities you might expect. Very good breakfast and very helpful reception staff. Early check in and delayed check out were not a problem. Hotel also runs a short boat excursion through the old town for the equivalent of £2 each on a few occasions every afternoon.
Good restaurant with innovative menu and fast service. Cheaper than outside cafes on the old town square.
The hotel is amazing, clean and has everything you need.
Bar and restaurant and. Spa! We were there as a group of 7, the rooms were all superb and the bathrooms big.
Very well equipped, clean and comfortable!
About 10-15min walk from Gdansk busy city centre and attractions, this hotel has the peace and quiet for a good rest, as well as being within walking distance from all the fun!
We liked everything,.Very good place near the old town, near the railway station from where you can easily reach Sopot.Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean.Very good breakfast. The spa is perfect, can be used from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. unlimited.
Perfect location in the old town. The room was spacious and it was a plus that you could control the room temperature yourself. Very good breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options. The hotel was also very clean and nicely decorated.
