Walking distance to Cardiff Bay; also to the inner city, although some might prefer taking the bus (2-3 stops). They actively try to invite guests to join the common rooms in the evening to socialize, which some people followed, to have a beer or two and crackers.

Although it has been a hotel for a very long time it still retains the ability to make the guest feel special. I understand that a big refurbishment is beginning. This might be a little overdue, but Didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the stay.
