Excellent location, lovely top floor room with a sea view. Room had everything needed for comfy stay, spacious too. We liked the table sited in the window looking out over the sea and really useful to have a mini fridge. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I have serious doubts about the booking.com rating system. I don't understand how this property received an 8+ rating, as I like nothing about it. There's no way this property deserves an 8+ rating.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent shower and good selection of food in adjoining restaurant.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The location is brilliant, right in the heart of the city. Convenient parking available in the train station car park next door (£13.50. for 24hrs) Lovely room and a very lovely dinner.
Room was good. We stayed pretty long and were upgraded, so we had more space than expected. Nice.
Walking distance to Cardiff Bay; also to the inner city, although some might prefer taking the bus (2-3 stops).
They actively try to invite guests to join the common rooms in the evening to socialize, which some people followed, to have a beer or two and crackers.
Peaceful. Nice location. Nice view of the Marina from our room. Good restaurant which served dinner until 10 pm. We arrived at 8 pm so appreciated that.
Location was great for our needs. Pub across the park was great for dinners and 2 supermarkets close by very handy for groceries. Excellent stay for those wishing to go to any games at Ninian Park.
Close proximity to St Fagan's Natural History Museum and out of Cardiff city. In walking distance to a small hotel for dinner. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Parking available onsite. Lovely area.
It was very good. Everything was up to the mark. There were many cafes and eating places nearby from where I could enjoy my breakfast and dinner properly. The kitchen was also very good and it had many items.
I have stayed at The Angel many times.
I’m more than pleased. Although it has been a hotel for a very long time it still retains the ability to make the guest feel special.
I understand that a big refurbishment is beginning. This might be a little overdue, but Didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the stay.
