Perfect location beautiful room with amazing views over the harbour you can sit in the window and watch the world go by. The people running the hotel couldn't do enough for you and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was home cooked and really nice, nothing was any trouble to the staff. Room was very luxurious and the heating was amazing.. can not fault this hotel in any way, can't wait to go back. Thanks to the staff for making our stay unforgettable.

Very basic, the land lady was very nice. Did not eat there but the food looked good. They put a bands on over the weekend, the location is very good. The bar area is very dark and a bit dated

Good old pub accommodation, food and atmosphere but the room was a bit cold. The table mats had hunting scenes - this is a cruel 'sport' now outlawed, not something to be celebrated.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Fantastic location short walk to great breakfast and dinner options, the pier and the West cliff!! Excellent staff. Keycode entry great too no need to track where the room key is!!
The host's were so friendly and always made time to ask about our day. The guest house was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Location is just a short walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars @ the beach.
Very clean and very friendly staff at the windmill Inn. Breakfast both days was excellent. Great base for exploring whitby which was about a mile away.
Breakfast great would be better if you did not have to order fried eggs took a while to come when ordered ,we had dinner in Captain kooks the fish we had was all batter it was a case of hunt for the fish and over priced, regarding the room was adequate would be better with the television on the wall was to low , paying for parking was a bit hit and miss.
Extremely comfortable room. Lovely bathroom. Immaculately clean. The breakfasts had good choices, were well cooked and consisted of good quality ingredients. We really enjoyed our stay. We were made extremely welcome by the hosts from beginning to end. There is a bus stop outside of the accommodation but you can easily walk down to the town.
We will definitely stay at Glenora guest house in the future and can highly recommend it.
A very historic inn. Great breakfast and and cheery friendly owner and his staff. Lovely beer garden. The owner knew we'd be back late from a party and was perfectly happy to let us in.
