Perfect location beautiful room with amazing views over the harbour you can sit in the window and watch the world go by. Room was very luxurious and the heating was amazing.. can not fault this hotel in any way, can't wait to go back. Thanks to the staff for making our stay unforgettable.

Duke Of Wellington Inn, hotel in Danby

The Duke of Wellington is an ivy-clad traditional eighteenth century inn located in Danby, near Whitby. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Moors, Whitby and the coast.

Good old pub accommodation, food and atmosphere but the room was a bit cold. The table mats had hunting scenes - this is a cruel 'sport' now outlawed, not something to be celebrated.

Extremely comfortable room. Lovely bathroom. Immaculately clean. The breakfasts had good choices, were well cooked and consisted of good quality ingredients. We really enjoyed our stay. We were made extremely welcome by the hosts from beginning to end. There is a bus stop outside of the accommodation but you can easily walk down to the town. We will definitely stay at Glenora guest house in the future and can highly recommend it.
