The standard rooms are in the modern section, and are very comfortable and spacious. We had a heritage suite in the older section, with views over the city walls. The hotel is a short walk from the river and the city centre, and is also less than five minutes walk from the railway station. We prebooked a valet parking space. There are good bus connections with stops close by should anyone not fancy the 15 minutes walk. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable too. 🙂DaleYoung couple

Breakfast was not included, but , we where fine with this, as we got our brekfast at pub , on main street nearby. It's simple, elegant, and really leans into its history, leaving me grinning at every reference to the Gunpowder Plot decorating the Inn. It's one of the best places I've ever stayed.
