We booked it with high expectations but also with some hesitation considering the (high) price. But all we can say now, is that we loved our 4 night stay here! It has exceed our expectations and for sure was worth the price. The staff was amazing, friendly and very professional. The hotel is so beautiful and everything is perfectly treated. The jungle surrounding the hotel and the hotel beach are amazing. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant food was delicious. I would suggest Datai Langkawi to anyone visiting Malaysia.

Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! So many food choices and I ate different things every single day! Hotel is very easy to reach to from Langkawi airport. The room was incredibly spacious and felt super clean! The facilities around the hotel are also very well kept and everything looks beautiful! One of our highlights was the beach area - super quiet and peaceful and very well equipped: enough sunbeds, paddle surf and kayak available, refreshments... The restaurants we tried were very good, specially Hai Yan

I enjoyed my stay at Boxpackers, it was comfortable and well situated! The bar at the back of the hostel is really good and reasonably priced also! Special thanks to June, he was so friendly and helpful during our stay! Not only that, I left my apple airpods at the hostel when we left for Georgetown and he arranged for someone to bring them to me in Georgetown! I cannot thank June and May who brought the AirPods to me enough. Such kind people, if we return to Langkawi, I will stay here again.

Grand Continental Hotel has an excellent staff. They helped me book my flight tickets and provided a comprehensive guide for the Langkawi tour, which was very helpful. The breakfast served at the hotel was good, but the interior felt outdated. Additionally, the hotel’s location might not be ideal for those seeking entertainment, as it is situated in a quiet and peaceful area. Despite this, I would give the staff a 5-star rating for their outstanding cooperation and service.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Langkawi! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly responsive and attentive to every need. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was decent, with a good variety to start the day. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Great stay in Langkawi! Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We got small treats from the bakery every day from them. Didn't stay much time around the hotel to enjoy the facilities but the pool looked very nice and clean. Room was good and well ventilated with AC. We also borrowed two scooters from them that was convenient to get around the island. They were good organizing tours for us and giving recommendations! I recommend!

I really like this hotel. I stayed in a family room with two friends. We spent 4 days in Langkawi, and for almost 2 and a half days, it was raining, so we stayed in the hotel to rest. We also enjoyed having drinks and chatting at the small table outside our room in the evenings. If you're looking for a relaxing trip, you can consider choosing this hotel. The hotel owner and the bar owner are both very friendly.

The Danna Hotel is the best 5 star hotel in Langkawi. The welcome drinks and massage was a bonus. The room was amazing and very clean. The staff are very professional and friendly. The pool area is fantastic with amazing views and one can take many pictures with different views. I loved the hotel and would highly recommend it. I would rate it 10 out 10 for sure and would surely stay here again in my next visit.

We had the top floor sea view suite, what a view to wake up to every morning for 10 days. The suite was perfect for us, close to local food spots and all attractions, also Langkawi Fair 5 minutes walk away. Getting a Grab ride was easy, no more than 4 minutes wait ever. We will certainly be returning to Langkawi Seaview Hotel, we enjoyed our stay and were made to feel at home.

I like the environment of the hostel and what most important is the warm welcome by the hostel owner, Ms Nadia.I had to check in early and she made my stay comfortable and memorable.The second night I was there,they invited me and the other travellers for a bbq and chilling out session.I felt welcomed.I would come again if I ever go to Langkawi and stay at the same hostel.

The staff were very friendly and gave me some great recommendations for local activities. The room was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed. The hotel's close proximity to the airport (less than a 5-min drive) was an added bonus for my early morning flight. Overall, a fantastic stay in Langkawi, and one of the best hotels I stayed at in Malaysia!

Hotel's territory is very large and covered with beautiful jungles. Wildlife watching (seeing leaf monkeys, flying lemur, hornbills is almost guaranteed). Great food both for breakfast and dinner (we tried buffet in the main restaurant and a la carte in Thai restaurant). Close proximity to Langkawi cable car (just 5 min walking). Great value for money.

Great place to stay in Langkawi at a reasonable price! The hotel has a great location, about 5-7 minutes walk from Cenang Beach. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, but because it is located off the main street, the hotel is still quite. The staff and hotel host are friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions.

This accommodation was one of the only things we liked about Langkawi. The room is basic but very comfortable. The communal area is so sweet. It is surrounded by fields and greenery. Hammocks to lay in. There is a kitchen with all you need and water filter machine. It's 5 min walk to beach and shops.

Comfortable bed and very good price. Thursday night market is 1 minute walk from the hotel and it is the best night market in Langkawi. You can find all usual Malaysian/Indonesian food options, as well as some Thai food and fruit shakes. I had no stomach issues after eating there, highly recommended.

The Hotel is perfectly located to get your next flight (2mins from Airport Langkawi) or just a step away from the Cenang Beach. The Hotel offers a free shuttle to the beach and the Airport. Rooms are big, breakfast good. It has a nice Pool with free towels. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Location was amazing, the service, the pool…exceptional! Aloft Langkawi is one of the best places you can stay in Langkawi. It’s walking distance from the beach. The staff were amazing!! The breakfast here was the best we had during our stay in Malaysia. The value for money is unparalleled!

My first time in langkawi and a friend recommended we stay in this small resort vs a big fancy hotel - it was the perfect choice! It’s quiet and cosy, and absolutely stunning. It provided a serene environment whilst we stayed for a few days.
