Beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment with enough space and all the necessary amenities (to make breakfast as well). It honestly surprised me because it looks and feels better than the photos suggest. The house is incredibly cute and authentic and gives a real Texel vibe. The owner greeted us, showed us around, and for the rest of the stay we had complete privacy. Great location for exploring the island both by car or bicycles. And the neighbor's cat would wait to say 'hi' every morning! :D

The island of Texel, and this hotel, are two of the most dog-friendly places we've ever been. Getting away from everything was the whole point of our mini-break so we were really really happy to be able to take Rosie with us. It was particularly nice in the restaurant because R-dog was allowed (and there were lots of other dogs, which isn't something we see often). Dogs were allowed everywhere in the hotel. This was fantastic! The staff were also really really nice and the location was very peaceful.

We booked a last minute trip to Texel from Amsterdam and Hotel Kogerstaete was one of the few places available - but it turned out to be perfect. We had a big 1 bedroom suite which was great. Spacious and clean with high quality furnishings and finish. We ended up eating breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and they were both delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is a 2 minute walk from the main pedestrian area in town and a short walk or bike ride to the beach.

We loved the entire property, with the sounds of nature. The breakfast is well catered and super fresh and delicious. The rooms are tastefully decorated and bathroom nice and modern. Everything was super clean. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant two nights and the food was excellent! I would certainly recommend this lovely personal hotel and should I make my way to Texel again, I would not hesitate and book it again!

Perfect position in the city center and 5 mins walk to the beach. The staff was really welcoming and available for any request. We were with our dog and we felt like being at home. The room was pretty big and really beautiful...and also with a small private sauna...simply amazing 👍👍👍👍. I'm planning to go back to texel and for sure I will book again at Tesselhof hotel. Super suggested 👌

When you enter you are welcomed by the nice and gentle owners. The design of the hotel is wonderful. All the furniture are hand made by the owner from wood found in the beach. Hotel is very very clean, beds very comfortable and breakfast ok! In the hall there is a big room where to read / play / relax and drink some coffee, tea or some Texel beer.

Location was perfect. De Koog is a beautiful place to stay in Texel. The mini centrum around the hotel has a good variety of shops and restaurants, and the whole area is close to the beach. The breakfast was abundant and everything was fresh and tasty. The parking area is convenient and the pet friendliness is total.

I am very glad that I chose this hotel during my trip to the island of Texel. An amazing place with its cozy atmosphere and warm welcome from the hosts. I would like to thank you separately for the delicious and hearty breakfast in the room, which was prepared with love. I definitely recommend this place!

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is close to the town center but in a quiet corner. The hotel provides free parking. Our room has a nice balcony and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of selections. We enjoy our stay in Hotel Zeerust Texel very much.

The place is old but cozy, which was nice. Plenty of parking spaces and a short walk to the city center. The staff is very friendly! Breakfast has plenty of options, and was very good. Definetly a price/performance hotel and would definetly stay again if i was in Texel again.

This is my second time at this hotel and again I rate it 10/10. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, the natural pool, amazing breakfast, and a clean and comfortable bedroom. The cherry on top were the rental e-bikes right on the property! My go-to hotel on Texel!!

We stayed at this hotel on Texel for three nights, including New Year’s, and had an overall enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Our room was comfortable, and the blackout curtains were perfect for a good night's sleep.

Everything was perfect. I got off the ferry and the Texelhopper took me right to the hotel. Hotel owner was very nice and he made the breakfast bar, although it was me staying there on a weekday in the slow season. Very cute hotel.

The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and situated in a typical vacation "village". The beach was only a 5-minute bike ride away. It's an excellent starting point for bike trips around Texel Island

A small apartment. But we'll layed out with lots of hooks and shelves for storage. It's sp good to have tbe bikes included. We did 2 full cycling days- Texel has beautiful countryside and cycle routes.

Great place to stay for our spontaneous week end to Texel. Michelin star restaurant on site was fantastic. Best lamb ever. Quiet apartment, free parking, bike rental service, close to beach and forest.

The hotel is very comfortable and well located. We could walk to the village of De Koop, to the beach, to Ecomare. A good base for exploring Texel. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice.

This hostel is a perfect base for an active vacation on Texel. The room was more spacious than I expected. We rented bikes for getting around.
