The hotel was exceptionally clean, towels and bed linens were a good quality. The room was large and had a balcony. I appreciate that it had a 4 cup coffee maker, a fridge and a microwave. The location was excellent to walk to all the stores and restaurants in in Mariposa and was about a 1 hour drive to Yosemite National Park. (Longer if there was traffic...go early on a weekend) The hotel was VERY quiet. I couldn't hear any of my neighbors even though it was full every night. The pool area was clean. The air conditioner worked well.

Staff courteous and friendly. Place was clean and comfortable. Totally in the center of downtown. We are so ready to comeback. I 100% recommend this place if you are looking for relax and a place to rest and enjoy the surroundings. We were there for one of my son's wedding at Yosemite National Park and we needed a place for the 5 members of our family. Mother lode lodge had the perfect place with an apartment with 3 rooms, kitchen, dining and living room and and extra TV room. We loved it.

Great location if visiting Yosemite National Park. Hotel is situation an easy 5-10 minute drive up the main road adjacent to the hotel to the park entrance. Room had a lovely position overlooking the Merced River with a swimming pool available for the block to help cool down. Room was a great size with king sized double bed, sofa and small kitchenette. Site had a great Pizza Take Out and also a well stocked shop for groceries.

Hotel is located an hour drive from Yosemite National Park, in quite and calm city of Mariposa. It has nice small pool. Room was big, with basic equipemenet, but it full cover my expectation (microwave, fridge). Room was clean and fresh. Coffee, tea and cold drinks available 24/day. Breafast was modest, but tasty and fresh. They started serving it a bit earlier after my request. Nice free parking in the backyard of hotel.

Different then your average cabin,hotel. Surprise how equipped it was. Beautiful views, nature all around you , gas station next door along with a market, near by the entrance of the Yosemite national park. 2 story recreation place big enough to have a a big family gathering with plenty of sitting and a big dinning table , pool tables, air hockey, foosball, reading nook. Beautiful place

This hotel is as close to Yosemite National Park as we could afford - about 40 miles. We liked the town and the people we met at the restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. It had good variety and was well-prepared. Of the places we've traveled, this was top notch. Chris, at the front desk was friendly and very helpful.

The location is perfect, Yosemite National Park is really close and there are also some really good restaurants close to the Hotel. For example Smokehouse 41 BBQ which is just down the road. There‘s also lots of parking spots available. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which was also quite handy.

The hotel has a good structure and is frequented by many families. It features a nice playground for children. The cabin was fully equipped with a kitchen and utensils, which was very convenient. Additionally, the hotel has a great location, VERY CLOSE to the Big Oak Flat entrance of Yosemite National Park.

Great location if you're looking to make a drive to Yosemite National Park in the morning. Reasonably priced for the location and therefore good value for money. Great hotel to stay at if you're traveling as a solo-traveler or even better if you're traveling as a couple or group.

It was near South gate of Yosemite national park just 25 minutes to gate. Restaurants are near by as town is small . Breakfast was good and serving lady in breakfast section was too good. Manager of hotel was very good and she has accepted my request to reduce 1 night stay. Thanks

We loved Evergreen Lodge. It wasn’t a luxury hotel but it was perfect for our visit to Yosemite National Park. We stayed inside the park for two days and at Evergreen for two days. The employees were wonderful and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the smores in the evening!

Ilona is a very pleasant and engaging host. Her apartment is on the lower level of her home in Oakhurst. There were 3 of us -- the 2 bedroom apartment worked well for our group. Oakhurst is a great location to stay in prior to visiting Yosemite National Park.

The hotel was in an excellent location and the town of Mariposa has lots of places to eat and interesting shops. It is also very convenient for visting Yosemite National Park. We were able to park easily for free in the road right outside the hotel.

It was a nice and clean property with beautiful views and restaurant was good! but would have preferred to stay inside Yosemite National Park to be able to enjoy it as had to drive long 2 hours to hotel due to the winter storm and loss one full day.

We travelled here to visit Yosemite national park after travelling from San Francisco, we arrived early so the staff worked wonders to find us an early room, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly which made us as tourists feel very welcome.

The apartment was beautifully decorated to match the Yosemite National Park cozy cabin vibe. The beds and sofas were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies and food which was a nice surprise to find in the fridge.

The hotel was very close the Yosemite National park, around 20 minutes drive (which is relatively close). The room was big and mostly clean. There is a lot of parking. The staff were nice.

Location was good in terms of proximity to Yosemite national park, however we were not in the main building and it was a little hard to find especially since we arrived at night.

Easy to acces from main street. Comfortable beds and clean sanitary facilities. Also the staff was very nice and helpful in providing information about Yosemite national park

The hotel is about 30 minutes drive from the south entrance of the Yosemite National Park. The room is spacious and quiet. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
